Water Quality and Clarity

The lake is currently being monitored using the 'Sechi' Disk approach recommended by the Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program of Maine (www.mainevlmp.org). In addition the lake is voluntarily monitored with water test kits measuring for bacteria and oxygen.

Quality

 As of July 12, 2021, 4 quality tests resulted in:

E-coli/bacteria - negative

PH average - 6.5

Nitrates - negative

Ammonia - trace

Phosphates - trace
