Sokokis Lake Water Level – 2026
In an effort to minimize flooding, boards will begin to be added to the dam the first week in May, as always. This will continue weekly until summer level is reached, just prior to Memorial Day weekend.
This timing has been in place for decades because it is best practice, and ensures camps do not get flooded nor docks swept away during the rainy Spring season.
The Dam Committee is aware of and monitors water levels at all times, adhering to proven standards to control those levels.
July 2024 — The Dam Committee is pleased to report that the two new steel brackets are now in place, which will greatly facilitate managing water level. Lake is at normal summer level and being maintained at that level.
